Don't Fear The Satellites of Cincinnati is slashing through the Midwest music scene coining their own genre of what they call Fusion Dance Music. The music flows through a variety of styles capturing the essence of Progressive Rock and Fusion Jazz but also nodding to, R&B, Funk, Electronic and World Music. Having shared the stage with staple bands such as Twiddle, Consider the Source, McLovins, The Macpodz, Twin Cats, Ekoostik Hookah, Broccoli Samuari, Arpetrio, Peridoni and countless other upcoming bands; DFTS is getting to be out on the radar. The Satellites have a growing festival resume which includes Hoopla in the Hills, Paradise Music and Arts Festival, Color Dance, Adjust Your Eyes, Jammin in the Hills, Karma Music and Arts Festival and others. In 2014, bandleader Sean Herzig was featured as an Artist at Large at the first annual Resonance Music Festival where he shared the stage with members of Papadosio, The Werks, Jahman Brahman, Aqueous and Peridoni. DFTS is known to formulate quite the eclectic dance party. Their aim is to search and explore intelligent modern sounds all while creating an inviting funky atmosphere.

"Watching DFTS perform is always a memorable experience. I have watched this band progress and craft their sound over the years. It is amazing to see such a versatile band blend as many influences as they have into their music, AND have a blast doing it."
